Newsweek, May 2012 issue, “Out in the Cold: China’s Petitioners”.

Newsweek Magazine published text and pictures I made on this story I worked on for some months, spending nights dodging informants in what was known as Beijing’s “Petitioners’ Village”. It has since been demolished.
