“Remnants” on view at the Singapore Art Museum

Remnants, my series looking at traces of the “Malayan Emergency” — or the anti-colonial war in what became Malaysia and Singapore — is on view at the Singapore Art Museum.  They are part of the Talking Objects group exhibition on till 19 July 2026.

These prints, of landscapes and artefacts which evoke traces of the Malayan war, are part of 33 works from my project One Day We’ll Understand which are in SAM’s permanent collection. Talking Objects is curated by Ong Puay Khim.
